Long lines of vehicles – as many as five-lanes in some areas, were seen along the East Bank road leading up to the DHB on Monday night as thousands of frustrated commuters try to get over the bridge to their homes in West Demerara. Up to 21:30 hrs Monday night, traffic was moving at a snail’s pace and the situation was sheer confusion and chaos.
