first_imgA father of 12 was told he would be going to his own funeral after being caught speeding out of a church carpark.Gardai had to slam on their own brakes when Patrick Ward drove out of the Church of the Irish Martyrs in Letterkenny.Garda Shane Lavelle, who was driving to work, told Letterkenny District Court he followed the silver Toyota Avensis car but it failed to stop at a Yield sign.
