LA MIRADA – Officials from the city and Home Depot, which wants to build a new store in the city, ran into a buzz saw of complaints at an nformational meeting about plans to improve traffic flow. About 100 people were present at the meeting Wednesday evening at the La Mirada Resource Center. Home Depot, which now has a store at the northeast corner of La Mirada Boulevard and Imperial Highway wants to close that one and build one at the mostly-vacant Crossroads Shopping Center, just to the west. As part of the plans for building the new store, officials want to close Wicker Drive at Imperial Highway and Hutchins Drive at La Mirada Boulevard.
