first_img*Oil giant donates cash to Pacelli and Cancer Awareness Amateur golfer from Abeokuta Golf Club, Olabode Mustapha, garnered 39 points to emerge winner of the Men’s Net category of the 2017 edition of the annual TOTAL Charity Golf Tournament that held at the Ikoyi Golf Club, Lagos at the weekend.Mustapha was rewarded with a choice Callaway golf bag and a trophy for emerging top at the shot-gun format one-day tournament.Jude Okafor and Richard Iweanoge who played 35 and 34 respectively settled for the second and third positions of the Men’s Net and were rewarded with Adidas golf shoes respectively.The Men’s Gross title went to Port Harcourt Golf Club Captain, Peter Eben Spiff, who fired 32 points while Rita Okafor who played 32 won the Lady’s Net prize.In the Total Upstream Nigeria Limited staff category, Obinna Okoli led the field with 36 points while Reuben Eguche (34) and Samuel Nwankwo (32) settled for the second and third positions respectively.While Okoli got a Callaway bag as top prize Eguche and Nwankwo smiled home with Adidas golf shoes.Over N1million was raised from golfers in addition to the support from TOTAL for donation to the weak and vulnerable in the society as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the oil and gas firm.For the 2017 edition, the two beneficiaries were the Pacelli School for the Blind and Partially Sighted People and Cancer Awareness Nigeria.
