The body, which represents engineering and manufacturing firms has puttogether the guide, Managing Stress at Work, to help employers deal withstress. It covers issues such as what stress is and why it matters, the legalramifications, how stress arises, what can be done, undertaking a stress riskassessment and managing stress. The federation’s health and safety manager Gary Booton said, “The guidegives straightforward advice for business on managing stress at work.
