The Court said that contempt action will be taken against such persons who indulge in blackmarketing of essential drugs and equipments for COVID treatment.Advertisement “People who trade in miseries, in this time of crisis, they should know. Even if God forgives them, the Government will not forgive them”, Solicitor General said during the hearing.The Court also directed the Delhi Government and Delhi Police to give wide publicity to the helpline numbers in which the citizens can given information about malpractices related to sale of essential drugs and equipments for COVID care.Advertisement A bench comprising Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli passed the direction in a special sitting held on Sunday to hear an urgent application filed by the Central Government seeking a recall of the order passed yesterday warning Centre of contempt action if it failed to deliver 490 MT of oxygen to Delhi.The bench has issued notice on the petition to Delhi Government and sought its response by Tuesday.
